King 5 TV News was at CommuniChi this morning. Thanks to everyone in our Seattle network for supporting us. We are here to serve You and it is our hope that this story will let others know about affordable acupuncture so that we can share this incredible medicine with more people.

Welcome Spring
Saturday, March 21st, 2009Spring is finally here in Seattle – at least according to the calendar. Thanks everyone for hanging in there through the snow.
A special thank you to Serena for covering my shifts at CommuniChi while I was in India with my family, visiting Buddhist holy sites and helping my six year old daughter understand that many children of the world grow up under more difficult circumstances.
With spring flowers peeping out here and there, I couldn’t resist posting a link to a Google map of Community Acupuncture clinics across North America. The pins look like little blue flowers of peace and justice and affordable health care.
Okay, enough shameless promoting! I wanted to let everyone know about the progress we’ve made on organizing a free clinic for Veterans in Seattle.
As you may know, CommuniChi has been offering free acupuncture for Veterans and their families suffering from combat stress since last fall. Soon after beginning this program though, it became clear that the Vets would be better served if they had a space of their own, devoted specifically to their needs.
To our delight, many of our colleagues hold the same wish in their heart, and the Seattle Acupuncturists for Veterans are moving closer to opening. Stay tuned here for more updates, and on our Facebook page of the same name.
May all beings have a peaceful heart, a healthy body, a unified community, and a living planet.
P.s. CommuniChi has a Facebook page also, and you you can review us on Yelp. Thanks for your support.
