Gratitude to all teachers, friends, and acupuncture clients for being a part of my life. Gratitude to the land, and the indigenous tribes of the Salish Sea for their wisdom and guidance in the challenging times ahead. Gratitude to the air, water, earth, sun and spirit. I look forward to seeing and serving you in the coming year. In 2023, the clinic will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. My days off are increasingly taken up by caring for my aging father so I need to allow a bit more time for self-care.
2023 marks my 26th year in practice. People often ask me “How does acupuncture work?” My answer usually begins with – “I don’t really know”. The world is changing faster and faster, and people are ever challenged to slow down and stay present with their breath, the beating of their heart, the sound of a bird singing in the forest, and the inner silence that transcends all hopes and fears. I return to the forest, to the mountains, to the rivers and oceans again and again. I sit quietly before breakfast, observing the unconditioned mind, touching the doorway to freedom. This is my continuing education. Let us all slow down and walk through that doorway to peace and freedom together.
